Professional Supervision Series 222PS1

Thursday 21 July 2022 2:00PM - Thursday 1 September 2022 4:30PM

The four sessions are designed to equip Psychologists with a better understanding of the defining features of learning disorders, how to best identify them within the school environment, how to select appropriate testing materials and how to interpret the results in such a way that the Psychologist can better inform teaching staff about the practical implications of learning disorders within the teaching and learning environment. Participants will be provided with a number of resources and readings that will assist in the assessment of students with learning disorders.

This series of supervision sessions is designed as active continuing professional development and as such, all participants will be provided with the opportunity for case discussion and review, peer supervision and group supervision with an AHPRA approved supervisor. All necessary materials and readings will be provided prior to each session.

All participants will receive a comprehensive set of resources.  Afternoon tea will be provided.  Upon successful completion of the supervision series, all participating Psychologists will be provided with access to a private supervision network to facilitate ongoing supervision and collegiate support.

Participants are expected to attend all four days.  Each of the four sessions will be held online 2pm - 4:30pm
