This is an online eventAll sessions will be streamed on demand between Tuesday 19 April and Friday 22 April 2022.  Additionally, all sessions will be available for an extra three weeks enabling attendees to catch up or rewatch these transformative presentations. Sessions will be available to view until Friday 13 May 2022. 

Frequently Asked Questions

When will each session be available? 
Each day, between Tuesday 19 April and Friday 22 April 2022, two keynote presentations and a number of concurrent sessions will be released at pre-scheduled times throughout the day. Once released, attendees are then able to watch the session at their preferred time. Therefore, by 6:00pm AWST Friday 22 April, all sessions will be available to stream. Attendees will then have an extra 21 days access to view or review any session.
What is the order in which the sessions will be available? 
Daily schedules and a full overview of the conference program are available here.
Are the sessions downloadable? 
No. Sessions will be released between Tuesday 19 April and Friday 22 April 2022 with ongoing viewing access until Friday 13 May 2022.
How long is each session?
Session times will vary (e.g. 60 to 75-minute keynote presentations with separate 15 to 20-minute follow-up Q & A sessions, 90-minute workshops, 20- and 45-minute concurrent sessions). 

How many sessions can I watch?
Unlike in-person conferences where attendees select from several sessions, attendees at this virtual conference will have access to all sessions. There will be several sessions running concurrently and attendees can select their favourite sessions to add a personalised agenda.  However, attendees will also have the opportunity to watch any and all sessions for three weeks following the conclusion of the virtual conference.
How do attendees watch the sessions? 
The 2022 DSF Language, Literacy and Learning Virtual Conference can be accessed through a dedicated website and optional app. Attendees will be able to log in to view the sessions. No special software is required. You will receive an email invitation from Eventee (our conference platform) within 24 hours of registering. Once registered, you will be able to see more details about the conference program, save your "must see" sessions and learn more about our sponsors and supporters.


Is there is a discount if I am purchasing more than one ticket? 
Discounts are offered for bulk purchases.  For bookings consisting of five or more tickets, an additional 20% discount will be applied at checkout.

Are there any discounts if I am a member of a SPELD organisation in Australia or LDA? 
DSF has provided special discount codes to our fellow SPELD organisations and to LDA.  To access your discount code, please contact your local member organisation.  This code can be entered during the checkout process.


DSF Literacy Services has a ‘no refund’ policy. The exception would be when a Professional Learning Course had to be cancelled by the Foundation. All other requests for cancellation will be invited to re-register for another session. Late cancellation (less than 48 business hrs) will necessitate the Foundation deducting an administration fee of $25.00 and transferring the balance to another Professional Learning Course.
