Clever Kids is a program designed to help students develop positive coping strategies in relation to their learning difficulty. Participation in the group also allows students to share their experiences with others, feel validated, acknowledged and supported.
Facilitator: Kirsten Melville
Kirsten is a Psychologist at DSF Literacy and Clinical Services. She assesses children, teenagers and adults struggling with the acquisition of effective literacy skills and recommends appropriate classroom-based and individual strategies. She also runs small-group sessions for children struggling with the impact of having a learning difficulty.
