Tutor Information Session 1

Over the years DSF tutors have played a vital role in assisting children, adolescents and adults who are struggling to achieve at appropriate levels. A good teacher, using sound teaching methods, can make all the difference to a student’s success and self -confidence.

DSF maintains a register of qualified Tutors and Specialist Teachers who provide individual tutoring for children and adults. DSF Tutors are required to undertake training in in evidence-based teaching approaches, designed to improve students’ literacy and numeracy skills (some teachers may already have attended some components of the required training).

We are currently seeking professional, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to make a difference to the lives of children and adults through tutoring in literacy and numeracy.

To find out more information about the process of becoming a DSF Tutor or Specialist Teacher, please register your attendance below. This free session will provide you with information on the requirements to become a tutor and the process to start your application. It is also a good opportunity to meet our Tutor Manager and ask any questions you may have.
